Woolly is a capsule coffee machine for people who love drinking coffee in the morning. Woolly rounds off a beautiful start to the day both visually and emotionally. The visually soft, tactile design language that makes Woolly part of your home interior. The softened,continuous geometry and natural pastel color palette offer a different attitude other than those typically found in kitchen appliances. Woolly's wood panel, textured plastic body, and metal details perfectly balance with the general form. The machine has a head growing from the main body and a spill tray that is magnetized below the body. With Woolly, you can celebrate your beautiful mornings with both espresso and lungo. Woolly is also designed with a tactile user interface with back-lit touch icons and a wood finish. This gives woolly simple functionality with natural feeling.

The Challenge
Capsule coffee machines had become purely functional objects — plastic, cold, and forgettable. Our client wanted a machine that would feel warm and tactile enough to belong on a kitchen counter, not hide inside a cabinet.

The Approach
We started by studying materials rarely used in home appliances — wool, felt, and soft textures — and asked how they could translate into a durable, functional product. Through sketching, 3D modeling, and multiple prototypes, we shaped a form that combined a soft, woven exterior with the precision engineering a coffee machine demands. Every curve and texture was tested for both tactile appeal and manufacturability.

The Outcome
The result is a coffee machine that feels less like an appliance and more like a piece of home textile — warm, tactile, and quietly confident on any counter. The design was recognized by Design Milk, which described it as "warmly tactile" — exactly the emotional response we set out to create.
