Grids Lab

Project Overview
GridsLab is the world's first modular, LEGO®-compatible wireless charger — and a project where we handled everything end-to-end: product design, brand identity, packaging, and the website itself. It's a rare case where an idea became a complete, market-ready brand entirely through our hands.
The Challenge
Wireless chargers are typically static, single-purpose objects — plug it in, place your phone, done. Our client wanted to turn this daily necessity into something playful and personal: a charging station people could actually build on, customize, and make their own, without compromising real charging performance or product durability.
The Approach
We designed a modular base fully compatible with LEGO® bricks, allowing users to snap on lights, displays, or their own creative builds directly onto the charger. Beyond the product itself, we developed the entire brand — name, visual identity, and tone — to match the playful, creative spirit of the product. We then extended that identity into the packaging, designing an unboxing experience that feels just as much like a toy as it does a tech accessory, and finally into the website, building a digital presence that tells the product's story from first scroll to final purchase.
The Outcome
GridsLab launched as a fully-formed brand rather than just a product — recognized by Yanko Design for reimagining how a simple tech accessory could feel genuinely fun. The project stands as one of our most complete collaborations: product, brand, packaging, and digital experience, all designed under one coherent vision.
